Defunding Police Citizen and Community Comments

Looking at the wide-ranging crime, assault, murder, and other heinous behaviors by people who feel entitled or suffering some warped attitude is sickening.  It is shameful, particularly in big cities (an example of craven) and in some governor's rhetoric (NYS assistant governor, for example)!

Okay, right to an individual opinion?  Yes, you do!  But, if elected to represent all people, your failure must have consequences, and as the public grows more angry, unforgiving, and will act, accountability will come upon you.  Political party choice and designation are corrupt and no longer representative.  Change means that people run for office based on their character, honesty, willingness to represent the country, and people in an open and best practices model.  And a second and simultaneous action is term limits, one time only!

So, here are opinions from across the country, steps that must happen and are beginning to happen, as the harm to people and property has exceeded tolerance and rational thinking. It is way past time to seek accountability of the elected for neglect of duty and failure to uphold one's oath.

Comments from the Public:

1.  If you are elected and have security, the first step is to remove them.  Then, go it alone like citizens do, dare to walk in your convictions and not present a false truth.

2.  A primary duty, accountable to provide safety and security to the citizens they represent.  That means you cannot have what you deny others!  Doing so, then the lawsuits are in order.

3.  The public has to stand up, demand this idiocy end and put people in positions of responsibility who have the guts to do what is proper, lawful, and not be separate from what you in power wrongly impose on others!

4.  Doubt this is happening and causing worry - ask yourself, "where are all the former politicians whose vocalization of defunding, kill police, and other stupid statements have gone?"  ALL of the noise in DC is now silent.  Why?"  It seems they are seeing the public disdain and anger and now hide to avoid being singled out.   They will be voted out and good riddance.

It seems the public, from coast to coast, are two-fold angry and should be.  However, citizen action has taken place, increasing, and there is no doubt it will continue.  Lack of responsibility and failure to be accountable, there will be a payback day, whatever it may entail!
